2006 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Despite the warmth of the vintage, this wine maintains a beautiful fineness and elegance. Aromas are bright and lifted, with hints of violet and bright red berry, while the flavors are deep and satisfying. A quiet forest floor bottom note keeps pace with a fine, lean black cherry flavor; fruit-skin grip on the finish lends the wine some tension and complexity. Ideal for duck. April 2009
